Existing IoT platforms assume reliable connectivity, reliable power, and Western farm scale. African agriculture has none of these reliably, which means infrastructure that works at scale elsewhere fails the moment it touches a real Nigerian farm.
Sensor data without good signal processing is noise. Most commercial platforms apply naïve filtering that loses critical signal in noisy field conditions — wind interference, dust on optical sensors, voltage drops on solar-powered nodes.
Precision agriculture promised yield improvements through data, and delivered them in countries with the infrastructure to support it. Kod brings that capability to African farms by building from the assumption that infrastructure is constrained.

Kod Netzachi Technologies is led by Frank Uchenna, an industrial mathematician with published IEEE research on multi-dimensional Kalman filtering for network quality-of-service prediction, and prior research experience at the Nigerian Army Signal Development Center on software-defined radio, video recognition, and situation awareness systems. Production engineering background spans commercial deployments across mobile and web platforms in Africa, Europe, and the UK.
